Pookkal is the Malayalam word for flowers.
In Kerala, flowers become more than decoration during Onam. They are arranged petal by petal into intricate floral patterns called pookkalams created over days by families, friends, and neighbours coming together to welcome the season of abundance.
At its heart, a pookkalam is about gathering. It is made slowly, shared with others, and enjoyed around a common space. Much like a table.
The Pookkal collection draws from that spirit of togetherness. Designed for festive Onam sadyas, weekend lunches, and everyday meals alike, it celebrates the simple joy of sharing food with the people around us.
Crafted in porcelain, each piece features floral illustrations inspired by the colours and rhythms of a traditional pookkalam. The artwork carries the character of hand-drawn design, bringing warmth, softness, and a sense of occasion to the table.
Whether you're hosting many or serving a meal for two, Pōōkkal is designed to make everyday gatherings feel just a little more special.
