A coral reef looks like chaos from above the water. Then you go under.
What you find down there is not chaos — it's the most dense concentration of life on the planet. Thousands of species in a single square metre, each one a different shape, a different colour, a different way of existing. Coral itself is neither plant nor animal — it's an organism that builds its skeleton outside its body and lives inside it, and the structures it makes are the only living things visible from space.
The underwater world doesn't aspire to order. It aspires to abundance. Every surface is inhabited. Every fragment is beautiful. Every colour you find there doesn't exist above the waterline.
This collection carries that into your table. Stoneware with a hand-applied coral motif — the branching, organic forms of the reef rendered on every plate, every bowl, every cup. Dense with detail the way a reef is dense with life. No two pieces identical, because nothing in a coral reef is identical.
These are not the treasures that wash up on shore. These are the ones still down there.
